Online Mediation

According to the Ministry of Justice, only four in ten separating couples comply with legislation requiring them to consider mediation before taking their cases to court.

At London Mediation and London Mediation Online, we believe one of the main reasons for this may be that people simply don’t have time! We all lead such hectic lives, and for some of us, juggling our commitments and responsibilities can make it impossible to visit offices of mediation service providers.

To help, we now offer Online Mediation and Assessment Meetings via Zoom

Our experience has shown us that online communication can be just as effective as face-to-face meetings as it allows busy people, individuals who may be homebound, those who live in different areas or countries, or those who have difficulty confronting one another in person a chance to access mediation.

Online Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting (MIAM)

Before you can make an application to the court, you must first have demonstrated that you have considered Mediation as an option to resolve your conflict.

Court forms need to be signed by a Family Mediation Council (FMC) registered Mediator to show that you have complied with the legislation.

We appreciate that attending a face-to-face meeting is not always possible, so we now offer an online MIAM service which is available to all privately funded clients.

Online Mediation

All our Mediation sessions are now conducted online, with meetings taking place through Zoom or similar remote software.

Perhaps you are unable to take time away from work or family commitments. Perhaps you are unsure about being in the same building as your ex-partner or the person you are in conflict with.

Whatever the reason, an online session could be the solution for you. Whether you wish to mediate family matters such as Divorce or separation or you have an ongoing commercial dispute. London Mediation can help.

Fees

Unlike many of our competitors, we believe mediation should be affordable and accessible to all, and we, therefore, do not charge an additional fee for our online services.

Online MIAM and Mediation sessions are charged at the same rate as our face-to-face appointments.
